The Stewdios

Spider Web Stewdios specializes in one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted functional art pieces.  It was founded in 1996 by Rina Gardener, who designs and paints every piece.  Over the years, she has brought in many people to take part in the process, including friends and family members.  Most notably, the contributions of Helen and Tim, Atom, sister Teresa, Kate, Fredericka and Joe, and her children, Adam and Teresa have brought the dream of the Stewdios to reality.

The work itself varies in style, medium, and function.  From Southwest Zuni Pot drawers and Adobe dressers, to wildly patterned and brightly colored tables and chairs, and covering everything in between, there is truly something for everyone here.  Inspiration is drawn from Dalí, Dr. Seuss, The Wizard of Oz, Erté, Disney, Roald Dahl, Harry Potter, Nancy Drew, Tolkein, Kinky Friedman, pop culture, tribal art, and anything else we can find.

A limited number of pieces are available for immediate sale. Spider Web Stewdios is happy to take on commission work, which, in the past, has included murals, furniture, drawings, signage, and décor.  You may Contact Us for more details.
